Job Class: BEHAVIOR CONSULTANT ASSOCIATE

 

Reports to: Lead Behavior Consultant and Director of Student Services

 

 

Functional Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide behavior consultation and support to General McLane school district (teachers, aides, and related staff) for students with autism spectrum disorders or other behavioral concerns.

Work Environment:

GMSD Behavior Consultant will travel within the GMSD providing services in all four schools.   They work closely with students to determine treatment approaches that will best meet the needs of the individual. Due to travel, candidates are required to have a vehicle and valid driver’s license to attend job related duties, meetings, seminars, and trainings.
